This is what I have in the shop right now.
I don't know who built it but they done a very nice job and guess what I'm doing.....
I'm removing all turbo related parts and returning it to stock.
The customer bought the jeep last week and he is not really a gear head so he wants it off so I made him a sweet offer to do the job :D

Remove it all if you keep the parts? That upper rad hose looks really close to the hot side of the turbo, may just be the angle of the pic.

Its well clear and anything that is close to heat is shielded or wrapped.
Im getting a deal and we will leave it at that and yes the parts will be up for grabs after I see what my time is worth.

Why would you buy a TJ with a turbo if you wanted a TJ without a turbo? And along that train of thought, why doesn't everything have a turbo. Anyway, I would like to have a turbo stroker TJ so let me know when you get it off.
 
No burnouts!!!! With my luck the turdy 5 would grenade and I would have to eat it that was the other reason I didnt flog it.
And as to why buy a turbo tj and then remove the turbo well he is not really a built jeep kind of guy YET and he paid about 2/3rds what it is worth.
A car lot had it and I dont think they had a clue what it would bring in the jeep world if they had thrown on a mild lift and 33's.

Just out of curiosity, how is that thing set up to handle the fueling for the added boost? Does it not throw a CEL and not pass inspection?

especially since turbos run on their own steam...

It has a secondary aeromotive fuel pump and a boost sensitive controler that adds fuel as its needed.
Whoever set it up it wasn't their first rodeo!

dam, wished i saw this thread so I couldve been in the ft of the line on the kit. Im using a lil 4 banger on 31s as a dd right now. would love to make it in to a play toy

Their should be a yj being dropped off for install this weekend so if it doesnt show then it will go next in line.
