Turbo trouble?

Did the housing and wheel do anything for performance? Most say it doesn't on the forums but I would like to know if you thought yours does any better.

Better bottom end & a little more grunt climbing the long grades going through the moutains. I really like the chirping of the turbo at low speed & the jet engine sound at speed. To me it was worth every penny.

Cool. I know the manufacturer doesn't claim a gain in power off just the wheel I've put a few on and those guys said they could tell a little difference. That's why I asked.

the wicked wheel is the same wheel as whats in the 94-97 obs powerstrokes. and also i would recommend going with a DP Tuner and ditching that POS superchips programmer as well.and as far as the k&n setup i would throw that in the trash and go with a Tymar intake setup as well.

Or drop a cummins in it lol. Naw he said he don't want to spend a lot of money so why get rid of the superchip when it works? If your doing that why not get an edge or quadzilla and get the guages with those that you don't have. Kill two birds with one stone.

as far as the generic programmers your tranny will THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!those are all junk programmers IMO. Custom tuning is where its at.

From what I'm hearing, I think I'll keep the superchip ( it does fine) I may upgrade to the ARP (?) stage 2 intake, add the "wicked wheel" and since it's a manual, probaly just add boost and exhaust guages.

Also while were on the subject. From what I've read, the 99-03 have "double shot" injectors that run about 120 psi. The 95-97 have "single shot" injectors that run aroun 160 psi. Is it worth it to swap to the old style? I figure if you're gettin more air you need more fuel too.
