Turkey Hunters..

I've use 3 of my 5 tags....but next weekend is out....Ill try to fill my book.

Opening day killed a 22lbers with 4 yes 4 beards
 
im not sure im going this year, too much stuff to do. plus, im not real big on fighting the ticks, fire ants, and snakes
 
shot a double bearded monster sat on my land. best yet, but I didnt have the forethought to weigh him.

shot in the head at full run straight at me. that was fun, HUGE fillets, fan sucks, its all beat up- BUT the top beard is 11" and the bottom one is 8", spurs about 1.375 :huggy: beards were stuck together in these pics, but I'll post up a better pic from another camera later.

Killer bird! I can't find the time to go down here but I'm headed to PA soon for a full wk of turkey hunting. I'll be suprised to see a bird with a beard over 8" this yr. After this yrs long snowy winter, I'm sure they were carrying around ice and losing length. We cover 4-8 miles a day on foot, I LOVE those big woods!
