I need to get my 85 k5 blazer inspected. So if I get it inspected they will not test the exhaust?

No. Anything 95 and older only gets a safety inspection as of the first of this year. Cost is 9$ and change.

Inspections? Move to South Carolina, Hell long as you can hand signal you'll be in good shape. These inspections are a racket anyway, I think N.C. is becoming the right coast California.
