Anyone gone to Tweetsie to ride the Ghost Train? Is it worthwhile? I went about 25+ years ago, but don't remember that much. We are thinking about taking my son up there.

Following. Cause we’ve never been to tweetsie. Is it more kids oriented? Or can kidless adults enjoy it too?

Talking to my brother recently he said don't bring my kids until they are older than 5 they more or less couldn't ride anything until then. Not sure if this helps in your case.

It's fun. My GF used to work there, and we went every year. Dont expect scarowinds, but worth going. I would second the no kids under 5, it might be a little much for any younger than that.

Well, we decided to go. We bought tickets for the 9:30 pm train next Saturday night. It looks and sounds like a lot of fun from looking at their website. My son is about to turn 8, and does well at spooky stuff, so I am not worried. We took him to Tweetsie for the normal day time stuff when he was about 4-5 yrs old, and he enjoyed it. Now we are just trying to decide if we want to drive home late, or crash in a hotel and take a hike the next morning.

If you all are looking for Halloween stuff to do, we went to the Razz and Tazz farm last year for their haunted hay ride. They say it is kid friendly, but it was pretty scary. My son wasn't bothered though. I thought it was great.

We took our 3 year old there for the first time back on August. He's pretty timid, so he didn't do the ferris wheel, but he rode with me in the (really slow) bumper cars, and lived with the big and little train. The cable car was a bit unnerving for me, but he did fine. Overall it was a good experience, but $210 for 4 adults and a 3 year old would be tough to do more than once every five or ten years.

Well, we went last night and had a great time.

I've been but it's been 20+ years. Sounds interesting.
