My NP 205 has been twin sticked and this weekend the rear output quit working only in low range, rear output works great in high range. The front works in both high and low range.... The shifter moves back and forth and you can feel the detects. If I push really hard I can hear the gears in the case sounds like it's trying to engage but the collar on the shift Rail is bottomed out on the transfer case. I've had the T-case for 6-7 years and thus is the first issue I've ever had with it. It's been a while since I've been into a 205, any suggestions on where to start, maybe with a soft for or a roll pin, or any other part I should look at and has anyone ever had this happen and what'd you find to fix it.

Thanks

I'd have to dig through my parts cases to figure it out but sounds like you have a misaligned shifter rail fork rings for whatever reason.

It's been shifting great, no problems then all of the sudden no low range output. I'm guessing something with the shift fork, but that's just a guess. Didn't know if anyone else has run into this before

When you do tear into the case and find any parts that need replacing, let me know. I have plenty of parts I can throw in the mail including complete 32 spline outputs f/r.
