I bought this truck off here about a year ago

Its a 93 3.0 5speed, when I got it it had been bobbed and had a ifs lift of some sorts and 35s
I put a spool in it and wheeled it
then came the rockers

then tool box and high lift

Got tired of waiting on the ifs to break so I went ahead and swapped it

then had Hg(HGSR) beef up the axle with TG parts

Now Im just going to wheel it till something breaks
next on the to do list is gears and a front locker

looks good! i like the early 90's trucks/4runners with SAS

did you use your IFS hubs on that axle to get the right width or spacers?

Glad to see this truck is getting the right treatment

Picture right after the bob job.

Going to try and find some of the truck in stock form...but I can't remember my CarDomain username or password,

after sitting on blocks for a few months im back at it, put a set of 39.5 15 16 on it next on the list is spacers for the rear (tires rubbing the frame), cut fenders, 5.29s, lockright in front, and a steering stabilizer. it wanders all over the place and Im not sure why

I see broken birfields in your future, a call to longfield is in order.

I have been beating the shit out of this thing and cant seem to break anything. I junked the bed and bolted on the toolbox and spare tire. robbed the front bumper for another project but hopefully getting a stinger for it this weekend. it really needs a locker in the front but I was kinda waiting for the stock axles to snap to tear it apart and put a lock rite, chromoly axles, and 5.29s. maybe im not hard enough on ityota 2.jpg yota1.jpg

If you decide to sell the bumper pm me.

Other news, I'm glad to hear you are wheeling the piss out of your truck and can't break it. Said something about the craftsmanship

Well the fun has kicked off on the"new" rig. Starting with the back 63's a nice shock bar and some other odds and ends..

It's hard to get good progress pic with such a crowded shop.

Update ....
63's are on mounts all welded, waiting to fully weld the spring perches until its setting on all fours. Still have to do the shock mounts upper and lower. Going to tie the rails together at the end probably do a receiver hitch tube in that as well. Trying to talk him into a flatbed but we will see..

The front ifs junk is all gone rails are cleaned slick. Frame tubes are in place an all welded. Spring packs are built but 100% not finished. Still need to bevel the ends extend the spring clamps clean and paint. Used the factory rears from this truck and three more leafs from another, ditched the overload leaf. Working on tuning in the front hanger to get a good shackle angle, Iam 2" forward from where trailgear says to put it and that's at the end in the road for the rails. Some of the body mount will need trimming to keep the shackle slamming it, bump stops will be a absolute must. The springs set near flat with weight on them and everyone claims the go negative pretty easy. And the steering box will have to go way forward.

Tires are 37"s.
