U bolts

Is it possible or safe to re-use/torque axle ubolts assuming I can unbolt them? These were made at a heavy truck shop for my Toyota w rear 3" lift blocks.

They aren't all that expensive just replace em and call it a day

Yea, I'm sure it would'nt be worth the hassle if they would come off and go back on at all.

I know I'm not the only one who's reused U-bolts. Sometimes have to file the edges if you cut them shorter or even run a tap/die over the nuts/bolts.

I'm spayed them w Aero Kroil and I'll see how bad I want to loosen/tighten them w 1/2' ratchet . I'm gonna try to loosen, remove old blocks and replace w shorter ones. Plenty of threads for that.

I've re-used them. Biggest problem I've had is that they tend to be too rusted & seized, and something ends up breaking or having to be cut off.
