u-joints ?????

i can not find spicer u-joints anywhere. need one for my front driveshaft. i was told spicer was going out of business.
who makes any that are as strong.

I think its called Truck Parts Specialists at the SE corner of I40 and Sandy Ridge Rd...they sell Spicer U-joints.

Yea, and he is very proud of them. I quit going to that clown because every time I went in there, spicer had "just raised their prices again".

Because the Brute Force stuff that Azone sells sucks Donkey balls.

Seriously though, I've had better luck with Spicer stuff. I've also had good luck with the heavy duty/severe duty whatever stuff that Napa sells.

Fleetpride on Boeing Dr was still selling Spicer stuff the last time I was there, but it has been about a year or so and another member on this board reported that they had quit carrying Spicer joints.

Precision U-Joint from napa is made by Federal-Mogul. If you happen to get the "Heavy Duty" ones make sure you get the non-greasable for strength. They usually only stock the greasable HD ones.

Powertrain stuff is based outta MI, USA for Federal Mogul.
