I have been looking at the fenders on my xj and have noticed how crippled and awfully chipped the paint has become. After a terrible rattlecan job after I trimmed the fenders from two years ago it just looks like :poop: I want to use some bed liner spray to toughen up the paint around the fenders and give it a better image without installing fender flares. I remember reading a forum where a landcruiser owner taped off a good style and sprayed raptor bed liner and it looked pretty damn good.

The kit with the mix and the spray gun is a little over $120

I want to spray and never have to deal with it again. I have used stuff that comes in a can and just dont want any flaking or peeling on down the road.

Anyone want to chime in on this kit?

TIA,
Nick

i have raptor on the inside of the tub on my Sammi and i like it as far as cleaning b/c it is less porous than the rollons, and not as expensive as Rhino, but it is kinda brittle in areas where the sheet metal has crinkled it has popped off leaving bare metal, but if you are not planning on bouncing off of random hard objects it is a really nice finish and cleans up great!! F.Y.I. all the appearance of the final product is in the prep work so if you do it take your time and do it right, my has been in for 6+ years and still looks great!! Good luck!
