UFC... Rant!!!

So did anyone watch the last silva/sonnen fight???? Well if so silva was beaten to a pulp and still got off with damn triangle (which is my fav sub) but he didnt deserve the win after 5 rounds of getting beat into the ring!!! I mean shit they said silva was hit more times in that match than any other fighter EVER in MMA, WTF HAPPEN THIS TIME??? Chael def disappointed me tonight but I still think he has more heart than 99% of the fighters out there! End rant.... Still pissed tho! :kaioken:
 
there are a lot of UFC fights where some one guy holds back for a couple rounds, the lesser fighter gains points advantage, then proceeds to get the dogsnot beat out of him in the final round, and ends up winning.

Its stupid because i know dana is telling them no 1st round knock outs, its bad for business. long drawn out fights with lots of commercials is their business model but its costing a lot of amazing fighters the records.

its to the point where UFC isnt even a sport anymore and ive lost interest.

yeah no joke...... I just knew Silva was going down this time BUT for once he actually sounded pretty classy.....

Yeah i knew some ppl wore others out by playing the hunted an all but damn first fight sonnen had in the bag just didnt finish i guess, silva def could start off stronger if dana/ufc would let em but i think sonnen would have caught him in the initial onslaught, and possible got a KO...? Either way its gay, i use to watch boxing when younger and loved the sport, my buddies and i would beat the piss out of each others then one thur night fight i was sittin there and cant remember who it was but one fighter was knocked down and the camera caught him acting to be unconcious, but truly wasnt! Sad that all the money has ruined good sports these days! Good thing my sport is 4x4!!!:beer:
 
The conspiracy theorist in me says all sports are big business, all business are in business to make money and will do so however possible. Not saying professional sports are fixed, but it is pretty easy to manipulate or massage the outcome in any sport. How else do you explain Tebow and the Broncos or Giants beating the 18-0 Pats...I know, I know, that's why they play the game...but look at the money those teams made for themselves and the league.
