UFC rigged

Not sure but I think Matt Hughes submitted and man handled Gracie for his first loss....

And by far the best fighter out there is GSP.. followed by Anderson Sylvia... I only hope that Penn get to fight GSP b/c I'd just love to see him get submitted or knocked out... can't stand Penn...

Penn is the man!! Who is GSP?

Forest is one of the best fighters out there. Hes a good ol GA boy .

I don't know his full history but I do know that they said he was from Indianapolis and was fighting out of LA, neither of which are GA.

I am not surprised, or upset, that Forrest won but I just can't believe it was a unanimous decision.

IIRC..maybe it was UFC 8 or 9 (?) But The ref. changed the rules and made Shamrock and Gracie stand up after being on the mat for a while. (Remember..there were no time limits back then).Thats when Shamrock landed a haymaker that beat Gracie. Probably would not have ended that way if the ref. had'nt stood them up. Shamrock even said that himself. Thats was the end of Gracie's UFC carear IIRC. I cant think of Gracies other losses, but I remember when He had won a fight and could'nt fight the next guy cause he was half dead himself. Those were the good ole days, when(if) you won you would have to fight again that same night. Man that was some brutal stuff back when the only rule was...there are NO rules!!

Forrest Griffin was a police officer out of Columbus Ohio, and fights out of Vegas. Chris lytle is who lives and fights out of Indianapolis (he lost against josh koschek, pretty bloody)

Chris Lydle is a fireman in the same fire house as a good friend of mine in Indy. I have hopes of sparring and grappling with him someday. I'm heading up to indy in Aug.

FWIW, that fight was ruled a draw and it was UFC 5. There were no judges back then and the fight was 30 minutes with a 5 minute overtime. At the end of 35 minutes neither man was knocked out or quit so it was a draw. Shamrock survived by "lay and pray" on Royce the entire fight and grinding out a boring survival draw instead of trying to do any damage and win the fight.

Royce did take a break but he had 7 more fights after that one.
