Location wise, your about in the middle. Uwharrie, has more miles, of trails, & is even more fun when a little wet. Gulches, is more compact, & more of a great playground. depending on how wet it gets, can limit your access, to some areas. Just my take.

i love gulches. fun lil place. harder trails blast to wheel there. only down fall is not camping beside my truck, where i usually store EVERYTHING.

Depends on what you're looking for. Uwharrie is nice for some relaxing trail rides and reasonably mild obstacles. Gulches is a lot smaller but has a lot more challenging obstacles.

Gulches. Way more fun than Uwharrie if you have the weekend to spend there.
