Ultra-4 KY March 25-26 (dirty Turtle)

I was wondering if anyone racing in U4 from NC4x4 planned on being there in KY at Dirty Turtle. We are making a trip up to the Bourbon trail (M-Th) then to the races that weekend. Wanted to check things out maybe get some insight as my son wants to build an U4 car.
 
I thought they cancelled it since Ultra 4 is under new ownership and re did the entire 2022 schedule. Looks like all races are now west coast only…
 
Hmm haven't followed it all too much. I'll look into it. I've seen schedules, about qualifying and race schedule for classes. I'll make sure.

Wow, I guess I was looking at old info. Search a different way and looks like there is a race in April now 23rd.:mad:
 
Thanks!!! Always thought info was kind of spotty. I've been more concerned about finding a campground open and available centrally located for the Bourbon trail and races, plus Bourbon trail reservations and which ones to go to each day , thinking I can just show up and at the race and get tickets. Guess I have a bourbon problem. Lol

That’s good. The new ownership practically eliminated most of the east coast guys and I guess they complained enough that they put the Rush and AOP back on the schedule.
 
We've been planning the trip around the March race they had on the schedule way back before Oct, leaving tomorrow......I'm glad they are racing on the east coast, but hate we've got so much inplace and they are canceled for this coming weekend. Guess I should have been paying attention. Thanks @rockcity glad we found out today and not when we showed up on Friday.
