Union Pacific 4014

132 feet long with the tender. 16 drive wheels that are 68 inches tall! That thing is awesome.

I love seeing steam locos, hit and miss engine, etc in action, it's facinating to see the parts all working together externally.

If you haven't already been you should check out the NC transportation museum in Spencer, especially when the 611 is down from Virginia for a visit. They restored the 611 there.
 
Union Pacific Railroad, is one Facebook site I've been following, along with "Fire up 611" & I think, "American Train Museum", or something like that. I saw a few videos, & "liked" them, Now I get More to watch than I need!
There's southern steam on FB too. Pretty cool pics and videos of older southern railway engines still pulling passenger excursions.
