Looking for ideas from the Dodge guys. My steering gearbox is shot. This is street/tow only, but hate to spend money on stock if there's something better out there.
Are the OEM units for a 3500 any heavier, and would they be a drop-in on my 2500? Are there any truly new ones (2500 or 3500) available, or are they all reman?
Looking at the PSC unit - really pricey, but claims to be new. They have several units, and looks like I'll have to call to get the low down on which is appropriate, unless anybody has any first-hand experience. AGR seems to have serious quality problems - anybody got experience with PSC?
Lots of brackets out there, which don't fix any issues, but do seem to help prevent wear and tear on a newer unit. Anybody got one they recommend?
Other thoughts appreciated.
