Yep me and my buddy Caleb Henley took our yotas to UF saturday, had a good time. The first lip on Daniel has gotten way worse than eariler this year, but nothin 2 locked sas yotas couldn't handle! Anyone else there?

I was there, got some decent posser shots, since i was by myself. Really had a good time, not terribly dusty when you're by yourself and the weather was perfect to me also.

Oh, and the ledge on daniel, its not a problem in a solid axle yota thats locked in the rear either:flipoff2:

Had a good time. Good to meet you Josh. Nice to wheel you with you Caleb. Wish you guys could have stayed longer. I took a huge chunk out of my tire on the ledge at Daniel.

I was there. My first time at URE.. I got my 1990 GMC p/u,long bed, stock,Street tire to the top of Kodak Rock! Alright I went the long way. Falls Dam, Wolfs den, Slab pile, Saw mill, and then a right on to Rocky Mount. I Parked at the top of the hill and watch others clime up over the rocks.

Yeah it was good to meet you too John sorry to hear bout your tire, might be going up next weekend too might see you there.

This was two weekends ago, but…

Getting lucky and catching just the right line can apparently make a big difference, because it is possible to mosey right up that ledge, with hardly any tire-spin worth mentioning, in a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo - with IFS and 32-inch MT/Rs…

And do it in about 5-seconds at that!

(* Yeah, OK… also with a rear Lunchbox Locker, and a set of Tera-Lows – but still…)

NO, for the record, I didn’t think so either…
Hell, the fact is, I was every-damned-bit as surprised as anyone that watched me do it!

And not a single photograph to prove it either

Cheers!

I felt pretty lucky on it too. First try i was litterly crawling, got the front up no problem, back tires hit and spun. I pushed in the clutch and rolled back until my front tires were at the edge of the top, 1st gear low, 2200rpms went right up.

this was with 33inch bias tsls with 8 lbs.

Yep, same here. --- I was in 4-Low, first gear, and for the most part I kept my foot rather light on the throttle the whole time.

Once the rear tires touched, I gave it just a tad more gas – they connected and carried me up onto the edge, where it offered a little resistance… so I added just enough throttle to spin`em, and *POP*, I was up.

Damnedest thing too… `cause after watching everyone else go before me – and so many of them having trouble with it (including a number of notably larger rigs) - I was 100% SURE I was gonna need a strap.

Afterward, someone made a comment to the effect of “that’s what a front locker will do for yaâ€. --- I had to correct them, seeing as how I don’t have one.

BTW - those 32s of mine were at 18 psi. --- Like I said... Go figure.

Cheers!
