I was looking at going. This will only be my second time down in my own jeep. Don't know the trails very well and usually go down with my brother. I might still be wanting to go, anyone wanna hook up?
 
Definite maybe. I was just there on Nov. 20th. I don't know if the wife will let me out again this soon. I'm going to try!
 
The rest of my group has cancelled, but I'm still going to go, so if anyone wants to meet up at the Outpost on Saturday, let me know. It'd be nice to get one more trip in

I will be there granit nothing happens between now and then. CJ777 what time will you be getting to the outpost??
 
Yeah I usually get the between 830 and 9. Making sure the kids are up and have everything together for a long day on the trails usually takes some time with a 7yr old and a 4 yr old. But 9 at the latest.
 
Anyone else wanna meet up at the outpost around 830 or 9??? Also I have a question for you veteran URE guys out there. What are the rules for weapons there? I am asking because we are considering camping out sat night and I want to bring my shotgun. Are there any particular rules you need to follow there or are they not allowed at all. Any info is appreciated.
 
I'll be there around 830 in this. There will be 2 more like mine in my group but anyone is welcome to join.

I'm planning to be at The Outpost about 9 a.m. on Saturday the 17th. Bringing K2 out for its maiden voyage after the engine swap and will be looking for someone to ride with.

I've been out to URE several times but I've never done Daniel. I'm interested in giving it a shot. With it being my first time on D I'd like to have someone who knows the lines to help me through the tough sections. You guys think I'll have any issues?
 
DM.. I dont think you would have a problem on Daniel. My although I have never took my ride down it, I rode with my brother down Daniel and he did just fine. He is in a wrangler with a 3" on 33's and is NOT locked, well was not when he did it. I wanna go to the bottom of Daniel as well, but I dont have rocker gaurds yet and I know I wont be able to do the step up's without damaging something bad. So I have held off. But I think you should be fine. Anyways here is what I will be in..... :bounce2:

Does anyone know if there is away around the step ups at the bottom of Daniel???
 
We'll be there this afternoon, leaving at lunch. red xj with white hatch, lime green xj, and a couple samis and yota coming later tonight

If you run into us we'll take you up it. But we have to go down it first. No tags. Paid dearly for it last trip.

You'll be fine. I've spotted a stock TJ on 31s up Daniel. With you being locked front/rear on 35s, you can pick them more fun lines and still have no problems.

The genius that owned this Rubi prior to me took off the factory rock rails and put on the plastic X/Sahara side steps. I haven't sprung for a solid set of rails yet. Something tells me these plastic fantastics might not make it up and down Daniel. What do ya'll think?
