i'll be down there for the weekend with a few other trucks if anyone else wants to come out.
 
We will have 8-10 trucks out there next weekend. We will be staying at Arrowhead. We will have several Jeeps, a Fj40, a Bronco, a Suziki, a Ford F250, a Scout - a mixture of all. Hope to have fun, looks like a little rain Thursday, so maybe it will help with the dust. Be nice if we have a little mud to deal with.
 
I'll be in Winston-Salem that weekend...hows the drive down to URE from there? Can you wheel URE at night?
 
we should be campin on the trail just above kodak. so if you see us, feel free to stop and say hey
 
i would like to ride sat, or sun.only been there once ,Its been awhile ago.My rig isnt tagged or insured.will i be ok?
I guess i can unload at the daniel parking lot.

just a bump over an hour if youtake hwy52 to hwy8 to hwy64 to hwy 109 and nearly straight there if you take hwy 109 all the way (although 109 takes you through downtown thomasville which can slow ya down)

and im probably coming down there saturday.

Jim, good plan to unload at Daniel lot. Just stay on the trails and off the FS roads and you will be OK.

I might run down there for a Sat day run. Will post up later.

There's about 7 of us going to b out there as well camping in the turn on top of hill before shooting range ( usual local ). Friday through sun. Can u clime?

Now I know where Uwharrie is. Won't make it this weekend though. Still getting settled after moving here on the 1rst. Looks a great place to take the family camping next Spring. Yahoo!
 
I am working to get the Commando ready for a shakedown run. Trying to make it sat for the day. Open/Open/no winch, but I will bring a strap :lol:
 
id like to try out the rear axle this weekend.but really dont want to run by my self. anybody gonna be there sunday?i dont trust this thing enough to not have someone there to pull me out if needed.

Looks like I won't make it. I was coaching a team playing a baseball tourney in High Point this weekend, but it got canceled due to the weather :(
