URE 19th

Ill be up there with Tacomatrd00, are yall gonna be on the CB? If so what channel?
 
There will ba e few CK5'ers up on the 18th and 19th. We are usually on channel 5
 
i stay on channel 9, but if theres gonna be other people on another channel i have no problems changing
 
me amd a few others will be there 17, 18, and 19. I got no CB though :( . I'll be in a red cherokee with no doors.

where are the ck5 guys gonna meet/camp? i was gonna just meet up with them, but the threads on the other boards have kinda died.

were camping at hunt camp if everyone going this weekend wants to meet there. say 9 am?

We are camping along the road somewhere don't know yet but I'm sure I'll see everyone out there
 
I got down to uwharrie today for the first time. it was also my GFs first time doing any wheeling. Glad i took her...i got the go ahead to build a true trail rig, we were in a stock dodge ram!!! and beleive it or not...she did most of the driving!

My girlfriend almost rolled my cherokee out there the first time we went out. And when it started to go over towards her side, since the doors were off she stuck her leg out to try to stop it. Scared the crap out of me!!! :eek:

BTW, if everyone is gonna have a CB out there, I might go pick one up and install it this week so I could actually meet a few members on here. Where's a good place to pick one up, any particular cb recommended? Recommended antenna? Any brands/models to avoid? I don't want to hijack this thread, so if anyone want's to pm me with ideas that would be greatly appreciated

Im not expert on CBs but I have a unidin 510 pro and a magnetic antenna, Its not the best out there but it gets the job done. I think my whole setup cost me like $60.

we will be running channel 8 but I have a radioshack $50 cb with a 6 foot wip antenna from radioshack as well(my brother was the manager at one of the stores haha)

I will be there on Sat. meeting at the Outpost at 9:00am. I will be in a red SOA YJ. Looking for someone to tag along with.
