Well I think it started by the shock braking off top mount(driver side) than the CV drive shaft broke the flange that mounts 1310 u-joint to my 8.8 rear axle. At the same time the electric fan flexed in to its mounts and bent it up. Lucky enough I have a SYE and we unbolted drive shaft.Then we had to winch out and box on top the winch had sliped down on top of power leads.They got hot and melted through coves and shorted out the winch. Had to be pulled out. Lucky enough I had brought the clutch fan with me and we put it back on. I had to drive a 110 miles home yesterday in front wheel drive no problem . 
Now I need to fix a few things. Can someone help me find a stronger 8.8 flange 1310 u-joint? The one that broke looked like some kind of pourous metal. I am going to put larger screws and washers in top shock mounts. I would like to put in limiting straps for rear end. Can someone tell me where I can buy or how I can make these?
