Me and a few buds will be camping out at URE this weekend. We'll be in a primered Toyota, gold Jeep, Primered Chevy, and a 4 wheeler. Stop by and say hey if anyones gonna be up there.

I am working on getting my wife to give me the ok to head up there tomorrow. If I go I will most likely try to hit the outpost by 7 and wheel to mid afternoon.

I will be on channel 36 or 38 on CB.

So we'll plan to meet at the eldorado outpost around 7. I will have to leave my house early as hell to be there by then but it's all good.
 
Three of us from Clover/York SC will be there. We should be at the outpost by 9 AM
 
Sounds good. If you guys have a radio surf for me on 36 or 38 and I will be in a black Tacoma with no doors on 40's.
 
I wish I had been referred to this forum before the weekend. My brother and I were in URE for the first time. Had an absolute blast. Probably seen some of you guys. I know there was a bad ass yellow Jeep there with full widths, a V8 and a buggy style back half.

It seemed like we ran everything backwards from most people, and a nice map read error by my wife took us through the Daniel trail. Came back with only minor rock rash underneath. Rained quite a bit while we were there. Only thing I had any trouble with was a long steep hillclimb that ends at a forrest service road when you get to the top. I cant remember the name of the trail. I never lost speed up it, but it was spinning and I was railing off the sides like a ping pong ball. Leaves me thankful for lockers :D

Welcome to the site slick. I was there early but broke my driver side front hub ending my day. Thans again 4CYL jeep for the winching. I should be fixd up this week and with a new set of tires for the rear i will be back out there this weekend.

If it is, it's mine and thanks for the compliment. Also, that's not a V8. Fooled ya, it's just a hopped up 258 with a header, flowmaster and running propane. I get asked a lot if I'm running a V8.

Yes that is the one. As we were coming down, you guys were playing at Kodak Rock. Very nice rig, made me feel puny in mine...lol

I'm not sure why he did it, but I sure do like it...lol

I hope to high line my Rubi and get it on 37's soon.
 
Maybe one day, I will be able to hang with you guys. I'm still a noob, as you could probably tell by us always going backwards...lol
