URE oct 3-4

Just found out one of the folks in my group is backing out so I have a site available. I reserved and paid for it in my name. If someone needs a site let me know I will give them a great deal. Most likely be site 31. I will keep 33 since the driveway seemed to be longer to hold my truck and trailer. Thanks, Sean
 
Anyone still planning on going to URE this weekend? I'm contemplating a day run to test out my XJ. Easy trails of course since I've not done URE on anything but an ATV yet. Also, been a long time since I've wheeled. Would love to go with a seasoned group to show me the ropes.

man would you be free friday after noon..i still would really like to make this run...The problem I am having is getting the ujoint to seat correctly in the axle yoke...when i tightin down the retainers(things that hold ujoint to axle) the ujoint will shift up and down still as if it the it isnt tight...I have never paid attention to this before but on one side of the yoke the is a bump that holds the ujoint in place, not sure if the other side was broken off or what...I am kinda lost right now as of what to do...also does any one know if a normal autoparts store will sell the 8mm bolts that bolt on the ujoint retainers

Sounds like you threw a cap through the yoke. I have fixed that more then once. Hell, I think one of the axles under the heep now has a washer welded in place. Yes autozone, advanced and most of the stores have them. I may have some of them in the parts box. What time Friday? I have to get my kids from school but I think they get out at 12:00. I'll shoot you a pm with info.
 
I'll be at Arrowhead #28 and my buddy is supposed to be at #29 all weekend. We'll have 3 Wranglers ready to tear it up. If it don't rain we'll probably start off at Daniel Sat morn. Not sure what time. Would like to hook up with some folks to wheel with :driver: I'll try to find ya'll Fri nite at the campground.

I wont be there till sat morning but i think we will head out probably around 5ish so we can get there early
 
I won't be able to make it out. Didn't get anything done on the XJ this week and I really want to get the parts on so I'll be doing that this weekend.
 
With the help of ghost I will be heading out at about 6 tomorrow...We are at arrow head also dodge cummins and one red tj and one silver jk...Looking forward to wheeling with some of yall
 
I should be at the outpost around 9ish. Then heading to meet my bro and some friends at there camp. Then to the trails. I'll be in the white Dodge towing the white Jimmy.

Ill be at the outpost at nine in the morning. It'll be me and trey, we'll be towing the blazer and the sammi up to meet a few more. I'd love to meet up with some folks and get in on a group.
 
Ure was great...had a few problems on dickey bell with pissing out tranny fluid hoping its the seal...and also have a few new noises in the front...cant wait to wheel it again in the near future...never got to run Daniel but really want to give it a try next time
