I am going and hopefully a couple guys from jacksonville will be going too. I planned to stay on the trails but it looks like I might go ahead and get a site since my daughter is coming.

Who all is going this weekend?

The Suzuki guys have their massive Zuwharrie trip that weekend. They have the Badin Lake group camp taken up. That is at least maybe 50 rigs or more, I am guessing on the more side.

The Isuzu guys along with some Montero's/Raiders have about 15-20 rigs going that weekend also (the group I am going with) for Hallo'wharrie. They have 11 campsites of the upper loop at Arrowhead taken care of. And the other Zuks that don't stay at group camp have all the other campsites taken up minus the tent loop, a few no-electricity sites near the entrance, and site 50 & 19 that actually have electricity.

Here is our little campsite reserved map. The white ones (yellow ones for the tents) are the only ones not reserved:

So if you want to grab site 50 or 19 I would do it soon, if they haven't gotten grabbed up yet (haven't checked the reserved list since Sunday). The only other options are the first come first serve walk up sites. But your more than welcome to wheel with the Isuzu group if you want. There are a couple Monteros/Raiders in the group, Jeeps, etc also. Everyone is welcome.
 
I am gonna try to head up on Thursday and do a first come first serve site. I sleep in my Excursion so I don't need electric. Worst case is we will sleep out on the trail. I just can't wait to get my rig done (setting up my gears and anti wrap bar) and head up there. I haven't been since the day after thanksgiving last year and my front axle rolled up under my Cherokee.
 
Actually sites 50 and 19 got grabbed up also. If you end up staying at arrowhead don't be a stranger, all the Isuzu logo sites are apart of the group going for Hallo'wharrie. I will keep an eye out for an Excursion and a Cherokee and at least stop by and say hi.
 
Me and a buddy are planning on coming up sat morning. We werent planning on staying the night but if theirs that many people there we might not be able to run the whole park in one day. We were kinda planning on watching the demo derby. We'll be wheelin a green tj and an orange and black back-halved yj buggy-truggy thing. Or would it be a juggy since its a jeep?
 
I would go with you Doug, but I still dont have a return date from Yuma. It is suppost to be the 30, but now their not sure. I am glad the XJ is back together and ready to wheel.

If you get back let me know. you still have my number? My junk is sitting on stands right now. As soon as the front gears are done I will work like a mad man to get the thing together. the 9" is done waiting to be put in. I went with the strange nodular housing, and an aluminum support with some 5.13's and a spool. give me a shout when ever you see this. If i don't get it done I may just do a day trip later over veterans day.
 
should be myself in my cj5 and a couple of stockish yjs up there sunday morning for a stroll.
 
Loaded up, should be at the outpost by 9. Will be my silver cj5, and 4 yjs and a k5 blazer. Holla if ya see us!
 
I didn't get it all back together until around 6 pm last night. It's a 4 hour drive with out traffic so I have to pass. I am going to try to get there at least once before it closes speaking of which what is the last day it is open.

Just saw your post. I just made it back late on the first. I will give you a holla in a day or two, and see when you might be ale to make a trip to URE.
 
Where are the pics from those that went? I got my heep done late Saturday and then driving it to the drag races on Sunday it blew a Power steering line. I got the line and will fix it tonite or this weekend. looking to go again the day after Thanksgiving.

I hope the video isnt of my non traction getting too short cj5....lol. Iroks are next on the list of to dos!

Yep that was me......running the freebie big tires in the rocks. They work very well with lots of skinny pedal.
