URE really open at 8am?

This thursday, will the trails be fully open by 8? or do they start opening the gates at 8 and don't have all open till later?
I'm planning on being there early in the morning and don't want to get there to find the trail i want to camp on closed and have to sit there on the side of the road for a while.

I actually asked Terry this question last weekend while I was out there going over stuff for yesterdays work day. She said the gates are all open by 8am but it all depends I guess. It was just me and her last weekend and those gates (at least the 516 gate) are a PITA open. Could just grab a cup of coffee or something at the outpost and wait a few extra minutes to make sure. :beer:
 
Yes, the gates are a big PITA. Those locks are pretty bad off. Mbost and I hung around to help Terry haul the fencing off and close the gates. We had to beat the snot out of a lock to get it to close. She is going to have the guy who normally open the gates lube them all up so i'm thinking they will be good by opening day.
 
Anti-freeze works great on any padlock, it dries and doesen't attract dust.
