anyone heading to uwharrie this weekend?

I'm planning on making a 3 day 2 night trip out of it and i think their are about 4 or 5 other guys from wilmington...

i know the zuk's are going to be running wild out there but that's just something i'll have to deal with i suppose.....

yea i expect it will be horribly crowded and i HOPE that after my 200 miles drive i don't have any issue so i can have some fun....


I'll be on CB channel 4... hollar at me if you gus are around......

hummm, think i coudl find something warm and cute to cuddle with in my tent out there? i'm riding there solo.... meeting an old friend to wheel with.... he doesn't really fit the bill......

well it looks like rain a chance of rain friday and then sunny sat and sun.... we'll see how that holds out... hopefully the bottom will fall out and their will be terrential rain at uwharrie all day friday and then sat and sun some scattered showers. :)
 
I will be there, black 4Runner w/ funky chop top or bikini of some sort (weather and progress wil ldepend what form it's in).

Erik do you know when you'll be hitting the trails Sat?
 
i'll be keeping an eye out for ya... i wish i had some NC4x4 stickers to represent with :)

i'll have my CB on channel 4 the whole time i'm there... and i'll be camping/passing out on the mountain.... i plan to wheel friday night, saturday morning and mid afternoon, take a few hours to relax, and then wheel saturday night and either start driving back sunday morning (3am or so) or wheel sunday morning and drive back sunday afternoon..... no set schedule... just trying to get some wheeling time in with all the zuk's....

slow and steady is the only way i wheel anyway so.... i'm cool with it! haha. just about all the zuk guys i've ever met have all been super nice so i think it will be a fun weekend....

I got this e-mail from Deborah Walker of the NFS:

Just to let your group know that we have closed down Falls Dam Trail for a few months to get the parking lots constructed. You will have to loop back around from Wolfden or Dickey Bell. Hope to have the work completed by the time trails open in the spring.

worked on the jeep from 5pm until just now... 7:15am....

couldn't get the tranny shifting so.... i'm shiftin' with switches!

40" boggers are balanced, spare fluids and tools are loaded, i'm tired and dirty but about to take a shower and head to work... i'm going to try to leave wilmington around 10 or 11am with a case of redbull and when i get there i'm taking a nap in the jeep on whatever trail is most convenient :)

CB channel 4 if where you can find me.
