Just got back from URE. It was slick from all the rain and we had a blast. Jeepnmud got some video I think he will post soon. Not to much damage just broke my rear shocks off at the bottom. Know what I'll be doing Sun. --welding some shock brackets back on. LOL

It sure was a slippery mess out there on Saturday. We only ran Daniel and RML before calling it a day. We had a winchfest getting up Daniel and John in his CYJ was the only one that made it without needing any assistance. We had lunch at Kodak and we didn't see a single person make it up any of the harder lines. Did anyone try Dutch John? I was tempted to head over there just to watch but we decided to call it a day after Kodak. The only carnage we had was a blown bead on the "ledge" (or whatever you want to call it) on Daniel.

I ran daniel up the right and then middle on top. I think jeepnmud got some video of it but I havn't seen it yet. When I ran Dutch John late in the evening it started to rain so we did get the cameras out. I didn't have much trouble on DJ but I'm locked front and rear with about 400hp. I made it my frist try but I was wide open. All the people we talked to said no one without front lockers made DJ without winching.

I made it about 20 yards up DJ (dutch John) without front lockers after I tried it 3 or 4 times I gave up.

I made it up all of daniel except the last damn 20 feet. Pulled the cable and went on. It was slippery out there that is for sure. Got my next upgrade list and at the head of it is a front locker.

Anybody else got any videos or pictures from this weekend?

Nice Video.....I can identify 3 of the 4 in the Zuk video.

First was Bryan in the Black Samurai. Next was Jed (me) in the green Samurai and the Toyota Truggy was Seth with Rock Monkey 4x4.

If it had been a bit drier, maybe we could have put on a better show, but that clay was like driving on snot.

I was in the little red wrangler that was in everyones way  . Hope you enjoyed the video.

I told the first guy Bryan you said his name was to watch this site for the video.

My Jeep does not have a front locker and that made it hard going for me. Took care of that Tuesday, I ordered me a front locker so next time I will be better prepared. Now if I would just learn to drive better :driver:

Thanx for the pix & vids, good to meet Joel, Dave and the guys. Had a great time.

It was good to meet you too John. As slick as it was it was still better than anything else I could have been doing at the time. :)

Great vid. what part of ur. was that shot at?

The Zuwahrrie vid was shot on Daniel. The Short Jeep video was shot on several different trails throughout the day.
