Measured pinion angle, from flange to driveshaft is right about 76 deg, making bend 14 deg. It is very close to the same at the top, frame is in the way of seeing it straight on from the side but it's w/in 2 deg or so.
Now only lift is from springs, stock shackles. When I put these springs on, I used no shim. I had some 4 deg shims on hand from earlier so I slipped those on, they're on now. I'd try going back down to say 2 deg if I could find some that small.
Chase setup the 3rd completely, I just put it into the axle. Pretty hard to screw up that part?

I got confussed while reading through, wasn't trying to diagnose over the net. I don't even try much of that over the phone! Hope you get it all figured out.:beer:
 
Replaced both rear wheel bearing, oil seals, and spacers...

No change

So I'm going back to thinking about the pinion angle etc.

This is a standard 2-U-joint style shaft. Static, it measures around 14 deg on the pinion end, and pretty close to the same at the top.
Even though it's close to parallel (I only have a very slight wobble, I think the single shim I have in is a bit too much), could this just be too much fangle on that pinion even w/ the joints in phase?
Maybe time to switch to an upper-CV style shaft...?
I'm just kind of surprised I haven't heard of more folks having to do that w/ only 3-4" of lift.
