Uwharre Post Season Trail Work

I'm young, have a good back and work ethic. If yall can use me let me know. I've never been there but I'd like to start going on a monthly basis once I have something worthy enough.

PS. I also make a killer sandwich.

I am not as young with a bad back but willing to assist. If Equip (bobcat/anything around 8-9Klbs) needs moved from the Fayetteville area I have my burban and a 20 foot steel deck trailer to haul it to a trail head if needed. Either way I will be driving one of my burbs up so I will have a few extra seats if anyone wants to ride along. With that said I will not be taking my trail burb unless it is fixed so it is a ride to the trail head basically. Maybe on the easy trails if I take my 97. I had major back surgery in Nov' so Manual labor is out of the question but I am willing to help move some equipt. there and then help cook or move stuff whatever is needed that I am capable of doing to help out.

@gmcjimmy, The more help the better.

I haven't heard anything yet, so I am guessing it is going to be February before there are any work days. I am going to make some calls this up coming Friday so hopefully by the end of next weekend we will have some kind of idea what to expect/when etc.

Again if anyone has equipment that needs hauled from fayetteville area let me know. Willing to leave fayetteville to get it if need be as well.

Edit: I have a 20 fot steel deck. I have had 10K on it before so anything under that is doable.

As long as it doesnt interfere with any prior plans, i'd be willing to help. Can haul equipment down on an 18' 7k trailer. Have never rode at uwharrie but wanna help keep the few places we have left to ride. Maybe some other club members will help too.

Of course it needs to dry out alot before any dirt work could really be done. And as long as this keeps up that could be awhile.

I think we would also need to know what the forest service would allow us to do, and would we get specific instructions on how to go about a job. Was just wandering because im sure they have certain rules. I do think it would be a good idea, I have no heavy equipment, but am willing to work.

They will be there with us, so yes they will be instructing what projects they have for us to do etc. We will also be proposing some ideas we have for repairs, and hopefully some will be approved for us to do.
