Man, Give you guys props for actually wheeling your stuff. :beer: But, tell your buddy to ditch the Thornbirds, they are the laughing stock of the 4wd community. Friends dont let friends rock Thornbirds. You can quote me on that. :beer:

i got a bargain on them used. the thornbirds when aired down do fine. i dont go mudding so i could give a shit how they perform in mud. i can do every trail at ure no problem with them so i dont see any need to upgrade yet....and why the attitude "we actually wheel our stuff"??

i drop about all my money into wheeling and would appreciate it if you didnt bash what i can afford dick head
 
"Man, Give you guys props for actually wheeling your stuff" I don't think that he is $hit talking you, I think that he is giving you a complement for really using your rig. I don't know about where you live but around here there are alot of jacked up XJ's, TJ's, and YJ's that never get dirty.

I will give you an example. A couple of months ago I went out with a couple of friends, (on private land) one of the guys had a TJ with 35's, he did not know how to lock it in to 4 wheel drive. So I would look at his statement as a compliment.

x2 I cant wait till I live closer to URE we've got a couple of local places up here that arent so bad but get kinda boring after 1 or 2 times. Im no hardcore wheeler but I see to many Mall crawlers and its nice to see some ppl wheel what they got.

im sorry about my reaction, its just i have to take some defensive action everytime someone says stuff like that. my parents havent dropped a dime on anything on my jeep unlike a bunch of other kids i know. i pay for everything, gas, insurance, off road gear. everytime i go to ure atleast two people ask why i off road with thornbirds. i explain and they just nod.

when a deal on better tires pop up i will grab em but right now they do fine

wow way to screw up a nice complement! but either way i think the same, i see way too many lifted rigs that people woudnt take in their own yard. nice to see people wheeling a grand cherokee.
 
thornbirds go NOWHERE....trxus MTs are good though...espesially in the snow

Granted he needs better tires, But having seen him wheel with them with open carriers I have to say they did well.

thank you, if i had a front locker that wouldnt have been a problem, the thornbird will eventually bite, i am grooving them before the season is over.

...in addition... I have nothing but good things to say about Nick. I really only know him from the workdays, but that's good enough for me... he's a first-class young man. :driver:

meet 95granzj this weekend Super nice dude. He wheeled with us helped me out alot. even lent me a spare tire. I had a spare but he had a better one so he offered it so I could finish the trail. Thanks others could learn from this young man
