A few buddies and I are headed to URE this weekend and wanted to know what to expect. Alil about my rig. 99 tj long arms,d44s front and rear, locked front and rear,4:88s,flipped dana300 tcase with twin sticks and 4:1 gears,32 bolt beadlocks on 35s. I want to know what trails to stay away from and what trails I can do. Thanks in advanced.

With that set up all of them are doable IMHO.

You're going to die!!!!

You're all good man. You should be able to do everything there.

If you havent tied it to the frame yet then you dont really have a cage. That will get you hurt. You have been to gulches. Its 100x better. I would not waste time going to URE.

Yeah true. I need a buddy with a welder and shop. I'll bring the cold snacks. :flipoff2:

IMO its a good trail ride not much for hillclimbs but Daniel should be a little challenge for your rig. Since its your first time you'll have a blast, but after you've been there a few times it gets a little boring.

I'd rather drive to URE and not do the same trail twice in a day then go to Gulches. I also disagree on the cage comment. If it is done well it is much better then the alternative. Have you seen the video of the TJ roll down escalator? All they had was the front tied into the dash and it definitely made a difference. URE is fun and closer to me then anything. These days you fave to go where you can and make the best of it.

I know EJ and I think he will be disappointed. Also know that my body mount has poked through the floor board from flopping. Not rolling. If he pulls a big clay roll on daniel he will die and I still have some parts to sell him:fuck-you:

Yeah I like gulches and I liked river rock. I've put my axles for sale baxley so I can't start building some tons URE should be fun at least I can put my jeep in 4wd instead of it sitting in the garage. We shall see.

I rode every trail in my 2000 TJ sahara with 2 inch spacers, rock sliders, and 30 inch slicks ...granted i used gravity to my advantage and went down the Daniel ledge instead of up it...Id say your TJ can easily do every trail and definitely take the more difficult lines on Kodak and Daniel, If your lookin for some fun trail riding I consider URE a great place to go

URE is a good time IMO. with 35s daniel and kodak are some places you really need to hit though. where are you at in rockhill? i live down 901 towards nichols store and would like to meet some more local guys to go wheelin with.

There are definitely much more challenging obstacles at Gulches. Uwharrie is nice for what it is, but it's anything but difficult. You'll be fine with your setup

Have a blast.
I like fun and challenging. If I had a trailer rig I'd take more risk. But I still have to drive to work on Monday so URE is plenty fun for me. :D

It D day. Haha. Yeah I'm going to have some fun thanks guys. After this trip I'm going to take the jeep down for some upgrades. Tons and rear stretch.
