Uwharrie Adventures Mud Bog 8/23/08

Mud bog

I had a great time... Jhonny and helpers have really turned this into a great place for the 4wd crowd. It is amazingly different from the rock race. Lots of time has been put into making this the real deal. I am really looking forward to the 4wd race track that is in progress as well. Thanks to everyone involved in supporting the cause... PJ

Yeah, that was afun event. By the way, who was that announcer?
Man he sure did sound like a superstar. Wish I could meet that guy one day.Maybe even get an autograph, or a picture made w/ him!!

On a serious note..Johnny, you should make up some forms that request more info on the rigs/drivers/teams/sponsors..so the announcer has a little more to jabber about during the call ups.
Like---------here comes johnny in his 68 gmc, running a blown 454, he calls his truck the mud maggot and drove all the way from alabama to eat some mud...his sponsors are
so ans so and this is his 13 year running mud.

Make up a sign up sheet/waiver, but also ask certain questions to make it more personal.
Name------------Team name------------
Vehicle----------chassis-------------
Engine----------------est. horse power--------------
how long have you been doing this----------
Any sponsors to mention--------------
Any special announcements for the announcer to say----------------------
Or anything else you could think of, just to keep the announcer in the know of whats going on, and to spice it up a little.

Just put all info on one sheet along with the time/distance slots annnd tha waiver signature. Dont forget to make them PRINT their name clearly also.

Good Input Dylan, I made some copies of your suggestion and will add it to our registration papers.
Thanks for helping us out on Saturday. You did a great job.
