Only 2 more left in the year. If you have not been able to make it out for one, you should really try and come to the next one. It keeps getting better each time and we continue to learn how to make it even better for the next one. The race will begin at 1:00 and will end around 5 or 6:00. We had some time delays last race due to water issues for the racers. Thankfully it is being addressed, so the next race should take around 4 hrs. If you have not been wheeling in URE in a while, you could make a weekend of it and then take a break and enjoy some entertainment.
Gates will open at 9:00. Racer Registration is from 10-12 noon and the race begins at 1:00.

Would like to bring ole blue down to run but your rules don't really fit my truck and several others i run with at reidsville. we run hot street and renegade and are not taged and registured so we or i would have to run with modified and i don't have a modified truck. check out the website. www.williamsburgfireandrescue.com

When people come to me to sign up on raceday I have just been determining street classes vrs pro classes by whether or not you have at least 50% of a stock type frame (plus no nitrous, tractor/cut tires in the three street classes) I don't care if you have swapped bodies, drivetrain, axles, or half of your frame is tube as long as your frame is 50% stock type.

For instance with my Jeep I'm screwed because I have a 2x4 box frame, plus I have 46" tractor tires. I don't compete because I'm helping run the events, but If I were to compete I'd have to run with the pro guys in the unlimited class in which case I would get promptly handed cause I don't have but 1/3 of the power they do and weigh probably twice as much as they do :handed: I don't care though I'm not in this to win I'm in this to further our sport . . . and get as muddy as possible in the mean time

Johnny has the final say on class rules so if he/Jackie comes back on here and says different then we'll go by that, but by the frame is how I have been determining qualifying for street class in the past races. Although we do reserve the right to adjust the classes on raceday if we see a need for something to be tweaked according to the vehicles that show up to race to make it fair for everyone. Like we've been saying, we're fairly new at this and were learning as we go, trying to make improvements on how things are ran each race so if we see a need to adapt/change something slightly we can.

But like I said Johnny has the final say, so what he decides goes, I just help run the events, he's the man in charge. :driver:

THANKS!

THANKS! my truck is almost all stock 83 chevy truck but for the ,seat, harness, fuel cell, lift and tires. my head lights, turn signals and wipers do work and it has a full stock frame. all i need to make it street legal is mufflers and tags. gonna try to make it this month but i'm leading the points in hot street at reidsville and i could break something the 13th and i may have to work but i will be at the last one. THANKS AGAIN! Blue By U Mud Racin, Sippin Beers and Bangin Gears.:vt:

Hey BLUE did you like that VT/east carolina game?:poop:haha!

Flat Track

ARE YOU RUNNING FLAT DRAG?
The last 2 races we had a couple of trucks running flat track. The crowd seemed to like them. I had a call this week from a local racer showing interest in flat track racing.
The Devils reject truck also said that he was interested in flat track racing. I will call around and if we can get 5 or more trucks we will move the lights and do a flat track race also.
Anyone interested needs to contact us here at Uwharrie Stables 910-572-1614.

Well...wait until you see what they have done with the landscaping now.....
We had some hold ups at the last event with trucks not having what they needed to wash off between runs. That has been addressed and washing off will be no problem now.
If any of you are interested in running a fast track, please let us know.
Thanks.
