HOLY CRAP!!! It was definately worse today. I could not make it up RML in a few places and had to turn around. Hell, even Falls Damn was a slippery mess. I have no lockers front or rear, and this was the trip that convinced me I need them.

Nice to meet you liftnaleg, had fun riding the trails. You have a sweet rig.
 
Johnski and Brit-Bloke i'm gonna try to leave concord around 930-10 and will be on the trails within the hour... would love to have some more capable rigs with me as its sloppy as ppl have said. If you guys get there before me what trails are you gonna hit first? love to have a trail convoy incase anyone goes sliding down the mountian haha

I must say that I was truly amazed by the ol' Cherokee last night and today. we went down Rocky Mtn last night around 9 or 10 and went up/down/whatever a few others. we checked out Falls Dam and some other pretty cool places. I'll learn all the names of the trails eventually--I'm still a TOTAL n00b. I had a pretty good time and the only time I had any trouble was this morning on a hill climb (can't remember the name of the trail). I got about 8 inches from having my front tires over and just couldn't get any further. we ended up having to break out Tony's (Rubicoon) winch to get me up and over after he finally got himself out of his little fix, then Bob had the same problems in the same place Tony did. all in all I'm happy I got to go and I even met a few guys from here. URE is definitely a place I'll be going to a lot as I get more stuff done. see you on the trails!

today was the first time i could say i liked my boggers. i had no problem and pulled a tj along most of the way. IT IS SLICK out there. Just got most of the mud off after about 3hrs of cleaning.
 
Just got home my self it was a mess today that is for sure. Had a tj with me on 33 at's has to drag him most of the way on dicky bell and then ran out of gas so that was not to fun but hey good day to start of the year at ure.
 
Sounds like you guys had some fun today...wish I could've made it.
 
We had a great time today...We climbed Daniel and Kodak. The ole Runner did me good today. I enjoyed meeting a lot of you guys today, I hope everyone made it home safe. Darren you have a great family and I enjoyed meeting them. I hope your daughter enjoyed the yota, she seemed too....Her and Braxton were so funny riding back there just laughting and telling me to hit the puddles faster, faster.
 
Yea there is a cool group of Samari's on 573? I think on top of the hill on the main road. There is a second group at the start od Daniel there group is called the Wet Rubber Group. Super nice guys.
 
I just kept my speed up, and used the sidewall of the Boggers.
 
made it out alive today. only had to get pulled one time, and that was just in a bad turn. i still hate ure in the rain
 
Did every one get the free Monster drinks? LoL We handed out around 10 cases to folks.
Uwharrie is 125 1/2 % funerer after tons of rain. It was good to meet tons of folks,give free sponsor's product and pass out URE 4X4cross flyers.

I gotta bragg on the ole xj a little. It went everywhere i pointed it.Did'nt need to winch, and only backed up for a retry a few times. Lockers and Iroks baby!!!
 
We had a group of nine there today. It was snotty as hell and a lot of fun!
The trails look really good from the winter work that was done.

I wish I could say the same. My fatass rig didn't want to cooperate. Thank god for Mike and his yota power or I might still be sitting on RML. Videos to come, including Greg winching up Daniel. :flipoff2: Didn't take too many pics, but here's the ones I got...
