I got a couple pics of the jeep in front of me getting stuck and having to be towed. I was having trouble in one spot for about 15 minutes but eventually made it.

AHHHH, VINDICATED
You're welcome.
Yeah Bro that busted rig behind you was me. You need to learn to drive. You F*ck up the trail so bad. And that silver LJ Rubi drove all over that trail. Then he towed my XJ all the way to the top were your high dollar rig couldent even make it. That Rubi is also his DD. He made it up that part of Daniel in his wifes blk TJ on 33's and w/ an open front diff. Oh. and thanks for busting my marker light.
With kind of attitude, I'm sure you'll get tons of sympathy the next time you decide to stop dead in the middle of a bypass. Sunday was the first time I met Greg (you know, the guy who you claim is responsible for all your problems) and I'd wheel with him again without hesitation. If you really had an issue, you were welcome to say something then and there and possibly come to some kind of solution. Instead you start talking trash from your keyboard.

this is what happened if you all must know...

Our group was making thier way up Daniel. Our trail leader made it to the top, the XJ was second in line and got stuck. The LJ was making his way back down Daniel to start winching out the XJ when a couple of Jeeps and a bronco played through, then this awesome YJ on coil overs came by. We were first on the hill, and these guys rolled by, which isnt a problem cause our guy was stuck. However, everyone made it up to the top except the red YJ. He went from the center line over to the by pass lane... where the XJ had been. The YJ had been doing nothing but tearing up the by-pass trying to get up (air down next time.. it may help) rather then staying on the right side of the trail where a YJ that capable looking should have no issues, specially considering an open/open TJ made it. He had been going back and forth trying to get a 'running start' and his problem area... and eventually backing 1/2 way down the by pass to only to start winching himself.

The XJ could not move... there were rocks he couldnt grip to go back down and the mud he couldnt get traction to go forward.

So BigBakDak has a point... homies should have walked down the hill and at least said sorry... and when is the last time you have been able to speak clearly in a situation where there is a what... a 350 bored out chevy full throttling up the hill and 4 wheelers full throttling and flipping around you?

Either way... we had a blast and I have most of it on DVD... :D

Looking back, you right, Greg did slide over to the other side. I had forgotten that. Sorry to imply that you had ran up on him. I just could'nt figure out why he could'nt/would'nt back up. Either way, folks need to be a little more diplomatic in how they call someone out on a forum. We all run into each other a lot, so cussing someone out is never the best way.

True. Looking back I wish someone said something before we started playing through. It all could've been avoided.

Bingo.

Uharrie

OK so it never happened, but it was a lot of fun never happening!
Anytime you guys want to do it again just let me know, also i think we all found out how with a little bit of mother nature uharrie can deny just about any rig.

Just wanted to say thanks to Kevin for winching my buddys jeep out so we could go get gas for my Bronco he helped us out and just wantto say thanks again

Ill tell him you said thanks! That spot gave me and the chevy ALOT of trouble. I slide into that tree in the turn and it dented and scraped about 2ft down the side of my truck. All in good fun though! Everyone says the first one is the hardest!

I do know this: that M12000 sitting in my garage needs to be sitting under my grill ASAP.

sorry bro, I did not try to screw up your light. send me a pic of the offending light and your address. I will mail you a replacement and some midol.

It was my first time at URE and I was unfamilair with the trail, please next time use some discretion when trying to offer your expert advise. Sorry my rigged sucked so bad next to your kia.

oh, I was on the hard line until more rigs were broke and or stuck at the switchback. I made an executive decision to not wait and move over to the bypass where it should have been easier buuuuutttt.........starting halfway up the hillclimb didn't work out so well.
didn't I see video above of my terrible assault destroying all the nice mud. it looked like i beat my rig pretty hard huh???

Was Uwharrie not enough of a vacation for you??? I guess not cause I now see a new one in your future. The board is not a good place to cuss another member let alone a mod, a vendor and a donating member all in one.

no worries, I refuse to abuse my powers over some trivial grade school NOOB drama.

your LJ with a busted window went the same route I did due to traffic. also i was at 10-12 lbs when arrived. this was the first thing we hit.

True. Looking back I wish someone said something before we started playing through. It all could've been avoided.

exactly, if you got a problem man up and say something. dont wait to get home and flex your e-muscles. we waited at the top for a while...you had your opportunity to bitch me out in person.

if you think I need some driving lessons, you can find me there next Sunday trying to catch some air time. I won't be hard to find.......I am serious about sending me your address, I will gladly replace your light, i am sure I have a few lying around.

I dont know who these guys and gals were but I just snapped a few pics as they went by. I wish they would have hung around and played in the rock garden so I could have gotten some good pics.

That Toyota rocks......very impressed w/ its pulling/towing!!

I had a blast.....didn't realize the beef on Daniel, everyone seemed fine when we pulled out. I do not think it's anyone's style here to fuck up someone else's rig intentionally.

D

That sounds good, that toe strap needs a rest, but damn it held up well. So you going cromo up front then.

You guys that don't know Greg and the guys he wheels with have the wrong idea about what happened. If any wrong was done it was not on purpose i have been with Greg many times helping other people out on the trail and back of the trail. So every body have a Coke and a smile and lets just go wheeling ;)

That was us... I was suprised that we didnt stop either. I think someone had to report back that night, and we werent expecting Daniel to take that long.

Who ever owns that YJ... do you have a build thread? very nice looking Jeep-ish. LOL.

this reminds me of the great URE zuwharrie event last year where two fellas were caught on tape....gasp....wheelin hard at Kodak

this is the one you're talking about, right?

that my friend is a TJ, at least thats what my wheelin teacher told me.

I have no build up thread on my YJ. you can cruise by the shop anytime you want to see it and disect it. I hear its in Peterson's this month too. CRS did the suspension and some of the tubework.
