Who all is going racing and what class are you in?

1983 bronco
Xj
A and B maybe

really depends on race format and if I can get a truck back together by then. If they are going to have a race with more than one lap, then I will most likely run at least one truck. If it is a one lap race, not going to drive 3 hrs to spend 6 mins racing and then 3 hrs back home.

Scared:beer:

JK, yaw come out and race, bring Doug:driver::driver:

considering my "finish" ratio as of lately, I might just be better off with just one lap...and I am a bit skeered

Thats a tight course to do that on.......

Im down with that, not sure Johhniw will be, dust and visibility might be an issue?

Yea, its just time trial laps are boring from a spectator standpoint . . .

we could do time trial lap qualify sat, time trial laps for the top 5 on sunday just run the course backward or something

but still lacks spectator appeal, wish he had a water truck he could wet the track down with, that would solve the issues

Any dirt tracks locally that would lend theres out, maybe a paving company?

Who else is gonna race, I'm calling out our ECORS crew chief and his Samurai

I'm gonna list myself as doubtful for this race, but not gonna rule anything out. The ECORS race is supposedly 2-3 weeks after the UREcross race, I don't want to trash my junk and not make it. I still havent even fixed it after the last race!

Well, Im not in the ECORS, so I may very well be coming out, attempting for Stock and Stock mod class. While I would rather not bang the XJ up too bad, if someone bumps me, Im bumpin em back. So I suppose it can't be avoided, why not run all at once.

errr thinking back, I thought about it. If someone breaks there junk in the trail and what not and IS NOT willing to let you/me push them out of the way, that could cause a time issue... Wouldn't like that.... major perk to time trials for the racers.

You'll help me fix mine after I break it right?

high speed race

brad, something about "high speed race", and "samurai" dont really mix well!

but, looks like we are gonna see what the sammy is made of, and how fast it will go in 4wd!! chris wants to know why he doest get to be my co-pilot as well.

(chris told me i couldnt sabotage the xj before the race)

I guess everybody is scared........no ecors racers coming out? Snappy's vag must be acting up again!!

Ha, I do know the Wilson Off-road crew is plannin on bringing numerous rigs to race

Ricky Brantley is rollin out with every truck he has which is a lot of trucks, like several for both the mud races, including 2.5 ton Trucks on the big skinny Vtreads, and two for the high speed race . . . and this dude was racin tuff trucks before I was born

Darrel Jones from Lee County (Sanford) LCMMC is coming out for the Mud Race with his 4 scooby crew trucks . . . he's the one that has been on like MTV/ESPN/Outdoor channel and every magazine and constantly sets new world records with his insane blower pro hill n hole mud buggy

The 4x4cross 2.5 Ton Mud Racing Team will be there

Couple 2.5 trucks outta East bend at least one of em on the tall skinny vtreads said they're probably coming

Its gonna be freakin crazy boys :smokin:

I remember the guy from Wilson's, he was cool, he flipped his CJ last year right? Is the guy from Galloway's racing that the airbags deployed in?

I'm coming down to spectate, but not going to be racing the truck. Like Tony said, don't wanna fawk my truck up 2 weeks before the ECORS race. Besides, my junk isn't very competitive for a 1 or 2 lap race. Make it 10 laps and i have a chance.

Yeah I'm sure it will be a mad thrash to get my jeep back in ECORS form after the uwharrie race
