i had a good time sat , oh except for the part that i cracked my t-case all to hell :shaking: i should be getting another one soon,,, and yeah da wife just gave me that look:lol:

Nice meeting some of you all. Jdubb, eat it. Sucks I flatten a tire up on Dutch John, but we was able to fix it.

I was in the lifted TJ with the group with the Cherokee and Izuzu Trooper.

thanks, needs some bump stops and replace the front link bushings with real joints.

Had a good time, almost rolled my truck a couple times. Saw the NC4X4 gang (and Lorenzo) coming up Kodak Saturday afternoon. We were far up on the left hand line with a Grand Cherokee that had bent a tie rod. I bet Lorenzo didn't even see us up there, but we used my floor jack in combination with the Grand's winch to where it was almost straight. Thanks for the offer from the guy in the green (That seemed to know my name but I didn't catch his) on the offer for the wrangler tie rod.

Also was cool meeting the Rover group that had the Disco roll on the ledge (Daniel). Can't wait to head back out in October. So what is this damage you had Lorenzo? :huggy:

i picked up a t case from some guy in wilmington,,, my t-case is cracked all the way around ,, i was lucky to be able to ride to the parking lot like that ... Thats what i get for not replacing my old , bent, skidplate,, that damn rock had my name on it though!!
So i spent all day sat. wheeling and most of the day Sun picking up a t-case = pissed off wife:handed:
I'm gonna take her to denny's today that should make up for it
 
Yeah we started on Daniel with a bunch of rigs and made our way on over to Rocky Mt loop.
We had some time to play on the rocks there so I went around and tried a few different lines. Far right once again then over next to budweiser and got my junk up the diagonal looking ledge left of it (three wheelin anyone got pics?) and went around for a third time to the far left.

Got hung up a few times and kept at it. Then I started to get a little to close to the tree and CRASH! That damn tree took out my left rear window.
I think that tree has tons of peoples names on it.

oh well. Need to go to the junkyard today anyway.

Just got back! Had an awesome day and got to meet some cool people. Did anyone see the really tall ZJ flop yesterday? I saw the aftermath today and it looks like it was a pretty mean hit.

I wish carnage free ... finally got up to the woods monday and banged around with the boy ... wife and kids came along also ...

whats teh first thing I doi? rip the bloody front shock hoop off the frame ... whack whack whack ... BAM ... not a good sequence of sounds just for the record LOL ... wheeled the rest of the day after I took off the offending shock ... now I need to redo the hoop :(
 
went today good ride everyone missed a big roll including me on rocky mt loop a tall grand flooped over = no more windows wish i had pics anyone catch them today?

Did you get it up here from Wilmington? If not, and it needs a ride, my folks are coming from down that way to Raleigh on Wednesday.
I'd off you a hand putting it in, but I'll be more useless than usual as having both knees operated on thursday.

Nevermind, just reread your post, you drove down Sunday to get it. :)
Good luck with calming the wife down. :D

I saw that ZJ when they got there Sat afternoon and it was at least a 12 inch lift and very flexy
 
Had a fun day! The spacers and TSLs made a huge difference in performance, especially after I let about 20 lbs of air our of the tires :)

hope everything goes well with your operation Chris. I havent got to swapping out the t-case yet as I was trying to get the wifey back on good grounds if I want to ride again
I have one of the skid plate bolts that striped off in the frame , so i have to find someone to help me weld that bolt so i could remove the skid plate,,, i should get it done this sat.
