I work better under pressure, so Ive set this date as the shake down run for the tons, which are still in pieces in the shop . We'll be there Friday through Sunday, and what time we get there Friday will depend on what Im still bolting together that morning :flipoff2:. We'll be staying at Hunt Camp, probably hitting easier stuff Friday and Friday night and the harder stuff Saturday.

Sounds good!

Not sure how this got moved to the past events, but can a MOD move it back to upcoming please?

Duane

I'm planing on being there that weekend. Might just be a day run though.

Moved back... :) Opps.. I was updating event titles and moving old events this morning...

WTG yager!!

Ive come to the realization that I will not be on tons, but Ill rock the half tons and 35s one more time!

Duane

my brother will be there all weekend and im thinking of coming up saturday just for the day.. what does your rig look like?

RamCharger with no doors, we'll be at Hunt Camp.

Duane

I will be there on From Fridaythe 14th until whenever we leave. I am off until May 28th. Planning to primtive camp though. Probably up around Art Lilly area. My GF's parents saw my pics from opening weekend and want to come up from GA to ride along and see what it is like.

Sounds good, we should be there early friday since Im not going to be scrambling to get the tons under it so just swing by hunt camp, if you dont see our rigs just leave a note on the motorhome. We'll probably be hitting the trail by 10 Saturday for anyone wheeling Saturday.

Duane

Bump this back up to the top. If you think youll be there shout out so I dont leave you behind!

Hey Houdini - I'm the guy in the dune beige FJ40 at Kodak on Sat. Enjoyed watching you guys spanking that stuff and making it look silly. Hope to see you out on the trails again sometime.

Here's a link to a video of our Olde North State Cruisers ride that weekend if anyone is interested:

Nice!

Yea, I meant to talk to you about your FJ and get a better look before you all headed out. Very nice looking rig! You've built it up very nicely!

Later!

Great talking to you again. Thanks for posting the pics  Usually wheelin by my self and don't get pics.

Met a couple of other folks as well. Can't remember many of the name except for Steve O. Hope the guy that busted the ball joints off the knuckle of the XJ limped it hope ok. Hope he learned a lesson about jacks and tools. :shaking:

I went down for the rain on Sunday. I got down there and helped out a couple NC Krawlers members who were stalled on Kodak and the rain hit. Ahhh, made for some nice slippery wheeling. I got to rape the first ledge on Daniel before anyone made slop out of it. Welp, I didn't make the first ledge but I sure tried real hard! The rest of Daniel wasn't too terribly difficult, but definitely need to be locked when it's wet.

MTWELLER,

I got a '75 Fj40 with 4:88 gears & locker in the front & rear. Next I will purchase the longfields. But right now I saving for that. I few things to sell & then I want to do a SOA & reverse shackle. Who did yours SOA & reversal? Was it expense? I thought of getting the kit from Ruff Stuff & get a buddy of my that's great welder to help, we just got to come up with a good welder, we both have a mini welder.

Thanks,

Mark
