Uwharrie Memorial Day Camping Trip

It is. I have some software on my Pocket PC phone that allows it to create a wireless high-speed hotspot at will. It will set up an ad-hoc wireless network and anyone that connects to it can use it's data connection to connect to the web. I have used it to connect my home network to the internet when the wife takes the laptop (and our cellular card) with her. I don't have any landlines run to my house, so all of our internet connections are wireless high-speed cellular connections. It's cool to be going down the interstate at 75 MPH and play on the internet (in the passenger's seat of course).

The cell card also has a gps built into it, so I can pull up google maps, or google earth and show my current location on the map. Kinda cool too...

I'm pretty hyped about going to Uwharrie this weekend though. First time there...

PS. If you do see me there, stop me. I can show you the 8" subs under my front seat. I built custom fiberglass/wood boxes that have .33 cubic feet of air space and fit (hidden) under the front seats of the libby.

Fran call me later own today say after 3:00

Leaving first thing sunday morning, should be there (at the outpost) around 8 am. It will be me( white 85 yota on 36's and no doors) a broggy (bronco buggy) and a jeep yj. we will be on cb channel 7. Hope to see some of you there.

boys going up Daniel Ed finally broke something on that Bronco of his.
We felt something snap big time and David noticed the front u joint was loose and not connected anymore.
We rolled back and then noticed the rear wasn't locked anymore.
pulled him out of the way... pulled the shafts and dropped the pumpkin down. 2 or 3 hours later... we had the bronco rolling down with just brakes.
pics to come.

I was looking to go back and defend my honor where I broke last weekend..... I was wanting to see if anyone wanted to camp/4wheel this coming weekend 24-26th? I called Janet at Arrowhead and she has me a great spot with places for 5 tents...Please let me know if you would be interested. I plan to cook some great food and ride quite a bit.
