Everyone is invited out to the Annual Uwharrie Mountain Festival. This year the goal is have a great turn out from the 4x4 Crowd. This is a huge event that has fun for everyone, even if you don't have a running trail rig. Here is a link to the official website:

In the years past the 4 wheeling community hasn't been heavily involved in this event. And its the goal of Chris Cagle and others out at Uwharrie to have a bigger showing of the 4x4 community. Terry the Hotdog guy will be out there even serving up hotdogs at Kings Mnt. Point. For those that don't know its a short drive from the Arrowhead or Badin Lake campgrounds.
There will be plenty of groups heading out from the Outpost for trail rides. So even if you don't have a group to wheel with there will be plenty out there to tag along with. Just stop by the Outpost and talk with some of the guys out in the OHV parkinglot.
There are a lot of groups involved with this, including the Forest Service. This is another opportunity for us to show what kind of an impact/presence we have in the Uwharrie area/community.
