Last series of pics. I think the most expensive vehicle went the slowest...

Had a blast today! Huge props going to Brad and snappy for making this happen! Jeep might be totaled but was worth it.

Thanks to Brad and Snappy for putting this together, we had a blast. Thanks to broncosbybart for taking the pics.

The #199 XJ continues to live on, even after lawn darting the double on the first lap and flopping it in the first corner on the 2nd lap.

After a quick glance over it after loading it on the trailer, we've got a few things to fix but nothing major. Although we're a little curious about the hole in the side of our oil pan. It looks like something came thru the oil pan from the inside to the outside but the motor isn't knocking or making any noise. Guess we'll just JB weld the hole and keep rolling til it lets go completely.

What's everyone else's damage report?

damage report on the 666: slung the rear driveshaft out of the rear pinion. When got out for a looksee, I found the rear driveshaft skewered the t-case, cracked the rear housing. After I finally was able to hammer the rear driveshaft out, front wheel drive was not working. There should be all sorts of goodness when I open it up :D

As said, huge thanks to Brad, Snappy, URE stables, NC4x4 for sponsoring, and everyone for coming out and making this a great event!

I think there will be a very lengthy list of damage posted. My ride faired very well, though I didn't try to push it too hard. Gotta have some excuse for not winning, right???

Thanks to the guys that set this event up. I had an absolute blast trying my hand at racing for the first time. It's really got me thinking about building a race truck now. Lol.

As far as damage goes, I'm in the market for a new steering box now. Mine started leaking after the second lap and my steering wheel is about 90 degrees from where it should be.

I had a blast even though the course was to tight for me to run on. Congrats Tony! Glad roger and his co dawg walked away from that wreck!

sorry about the yard dart, I was having a hard time seeing over the hood! Hope that didnt cause any damage. Nice commentary Chris. For the record, that was one foot driving, don't think I'm coordinated enough to use both feet.

spun the rear axle tube. This was the first time out with the traction bar, guess that was too much stress on the 8.25.
Havent dug into the tcase yet.

Talked to Roger this morning. He and his codog are sore but ok. Thanks to all who helped insure he was ok and helped get his rig to the camp site. Proud to say if anything ever happens, i feel alot better knowning you guys have my back!

I still smell like gas lol I had a blast tho. Good times.I'm glad Rodgers ok, that guy has got 9 lives! It was funny watching Biggoofey meet Sparta's finest too. o_O

No complaints from me at all Tony. I was more than happy with everybody's ride in it. I don't believe there was any real damage done other than a U-joint early in the day and a few dents from Brad's roll. Lol the commentary got pretty old. George was sitting in front of me and he'd say stuff and I just kept saying "yea" "yea" over in over through the whole video lol

Sent from the MarsFab Off Road mobile response unit.

This impressed me so I had to snap a picture. Just to the left of center in the picture you can see where the drivers side of the Jeep hit the ground so hard that it left a perfect outline of the hood, a, b, c, d-pillar and roof it in the dirt. Brad was making a 180* right turn. The roof never touched!
