Uwharrie Spider Hunt/Wheeling 4/23 4/24

To all my fellow spider hunters in training, I just want to say thanks for a great weekend. I will be out tonight in the woods with my head light searching for the elusive arachnids that so mesmorized us all. One day I hope to achieve the skill level of our glorious and professional teacher who will remain unnamed but whom we all know, respect and will try to emulate with our last dying breath. And to our many eyed, many legged friends of the night, you can run but you can not hide.

Oh yeah, had a good time wheelin too.

Hehehe! Awesome trip to say the least.
Going up the Daniel trail at midnight was a blast considering i was wheeling Pinky with a sleeping 4 year old in the back seat.
Good times.

Marcie and I also had a great time . Marcie drove the whole time and also went up daniel at night on her 1st trip really behind the wheel. This was the first time back at URE in red head helen (our 94 yota truck) in 3yrs, The last time we went to daniel the red truck spun a bearing and thrust washer . With the thought of that in the back of both of our minds ,Marcie drove like she has wheeled for years . Thanks Paul,Cody,Justin,Jeeps, Brad,Chris and all the others we rode with. Although we didn't go spider hunting at camp we had a great time. Lets do it again!!!!!!

How do you hunt said spiders, guns, bombs, large stick

My 5 year old sleeps on the trail more than he is a wake, he always has since he was big enough to ride.

Bring it to the flats next weekend. You should have no problems towing your jeep and there are lots of spiders.
