Since last weekend was opening weekend, thought I'd poll and see what everyone thinks each of the trails should be rated as, this year? Close to what the FS has them at? I'm starting a trail ride agenda for the CFSJC's ECI coming in June, and would like to get a good idea of what trails can be done in stockers, which ones are good for mildly built rigs, and then of course the ones where big tires, lifts, and lockers should be involved.

I would consider everything easy except daniel trail and some obstacles on rocky mtn. loop (kodak, budwiser) and the dickey bell hill. with the right line and good flex 31's can do all these however the kodak rock garden is mostly extremeley difficult, where you need lockers, armor and big tires. when it rains most trails become very difficult and very fun. :)

if I based it on a stock vehicle then everything would be easy except daniel and rocky mtn loop.

I would rate Daniel and Kodak as moderate/difficult for stockers.

If your truck has a locker then the hardest thing out there will be moderate.

Lots of trails just not a lot of challenge.

I ran Rocky mtn loop in my Excurison in 2 wd on Sunday. It sit in a 4" lift on 35" treps running 50 psi......

Keep in mind, the majority of our attendees will be in Full Size Jeeps, so keep long wheel based, no turn radius, heavy rigs in mind when you base your opinions. Thanks, and keep 'em coming.

Daniel/Kodak are the only moderate/difficult trails at URE, Kodak can be bypassed easily, Daniel cannot, and should not be attempted without prolly 35's and 1 locker on a FSJ, could be wrong. We will be out there this weekend, have 2 FS trucks in the group both on 37s, so we will see how they do and I will get back to you.

FYI, I've run all of the trails at URE in the past. But I know things change over the off-season with weather and work done by the FS and volunteers and such. So I'm more or less just trying to get a feel for how things may or may not be different from last year?
