This will be the first open season workday, and will be the first workday for the $50 4 Wheel Parts Gift Card give away. Right now there is no clear word on the workload, but rumor has that it will be a light load day. As more information becomes available I will post it up on here.

Schedule:
8AM: BREAKFAST @ OUTPOST (We usually sit in the back near the fireplace)
9AM: MEET @ HUNTCAMP
9:30 AM: HEAD TO ARROWHEAD CAMPGROUNDS
1PM + : LUNCH
3PM + : WRAP UP WORK

I will be there camping the entire week prior so i am going to do what i can then. Going to just link up with Janet and go from there. Try to link up with Terry also.

During the Jamboree 4 Wheel Parts was out and they dropped off the winch that will be given away at the next Jamboree, plus the first 3 of the Gift Cards for the workdays. They can only set the expiration dates so far in advance, so we will be getting them 3 cards at a time. Here are the first 3:

I will be bringing one of these $50 Gift Cards to the April workday to give away. Thanks again to 4 Wheel Parts for donating the gift cards and the winch.

Same weekend as The Flats ACS ride?
Yes.

Any idea of what we plan on doing yet ? Will be heading up that way for the week in a bit .

I have made phone calls and sent e-mails with no word back yet. I would just go ahead an plan on it being a light load workday and if things change we can adjust plans accordingly.

Hi Everyone – I’m sorry this message is getting out late but it has been a busy spring & I was on Spring Break last week. For the upcoming April 21st work weekend we were not going have a big work weekend because the majority of folks that generally supervise & organize these will be on fire details in FL, one will be doing a training session & one will be at a wedding.

Generally, picking up trash along the trails and at the dispersed campsites would be very helpful. Also, your groups can go to the Arrowhead Campground Host site at campsite #22 to pick up garbage cans and day passes and tools and she’ll get you’ll all signed up so we can keep track of your volunteer hours.

Also, volunteers can clear off a lot of the debris from trees & prune back some of the branches with loppers & pruners and that would help out a lot too.

In May we’ll probably be installing a couple of sections of guardrail on Falls Dam Trail where folks are climbing hills off of the trail and we’ll have a few other projects lined up for hard work and that we’ll need a Bobcat to help us out with.

Thanks a lot for helping out. We appreciate it very much. Bye - Terry

Looks like Brian beat me to posting the workday e-mail. I guess Terry did get my e-mail Friday. Like I said its going to be a light load workday. For the sake of keeping consistency we will meet at Hunt Camp at 9AM, wait to make sure everyone that is coming makes it in, then head out to Arrowhead.

Sorry, but will not be able to come back up. Actually Janet just ordered me not to. We just cleaned up WolfDen. Also put some of the wooden guard rail back up also on it. So, WolfDen has been done and if we have time up here we might try and do something on another. With rain coming here soon not too sure about it. We are up here right now on vacation on Badin lake.

Your Hot Dog Gal will not be at URE this weekend due to weather. Sorry guy's. I am still recooping from surgery and now have taken on a nasty cold. Nothing like coughing after getting your gut cut!

I am just a wimp compared to any average man. But Don, I am compared to a man!
