Uwharrie Trip July 16 & 17

Me and a buddy are going to Uwharrie on the weekend of July 16th and 17th.
Wondering if anyone else is interested in going?. Going up Saturday morning and leaving late Sunday.

If you are interested in meeting up, plans can be made for that.

I'm trying to make it out that weekend but only on one of the days. Most likely on the Saturday. If you guys are going to meet up somewhere post up the time and place. Hopefully my truck will be up and running by then.
 
usually the elderado outpost around 10am saturday
 
Should be finishing up my buggy this week, planning on doing a shake down run on Saturday the 16th, I am tired of wheeling alone, so 10am at the Outpost sounds good to me.

Ill be in the black Zj im kinda hard to miss. I will also have a white Tj on 35s and a silver xj on 33s with me.

As long as nothing crazy comes up, I'm planning on being out there Friday and Saturday. I would love to join in with you guys on Saturday. I'll be in a red Ranger.
 
Just to recall. I'll be a in steel blue JK on 33's. Buddy's will be in one burgundy XJ on 31's and one white XJ on 35's.

Look for me as I won't be able to remember 4+ vehicles that I have to look for. Come up and introduce yourself. After we're all ready, we'll hit the trails.

I'll be selling laminated trail maps for $5 each. One side has an old version of the map (less mess), the other has an updated map.

So I know how many maps to get, who believes they will want one?

I would like one. I'm new to Uwharrie so it will come in handy. You'll recognize my tan slant-back solid axle Hummer H3.

I'll make sure to get you a map. Anyone else want one?
 
If yall don't mind Ill be heading down from Raleigh. 10am sounds good. Ill be in a stock Black LJ rubicon and my friend will be in a black JK rubicon withs 35s

They're predicting rain Saturday. Not so good for open tops. On a positive note; at least we won't be eating dust.

check out arrowhead camp ground man and rain = FUN actually makes the trails hard!
 
I might be able to make it up there Sunday if anyone plans to wheel that day. I'll be in a white and black Tacoma with a bobbed bed. Should have my 4yr old nephew and 9 week old puppy with me :)

I'd also like one of those laminated trail maps if I can meet up with you at some point.

Depending on what version of the Uwharrie maps you will be selling I would be interested in picking up one. I don't have a working printer otherwise I would just print my maps out and laminate them. I know its sad. :lol:

A couple volunteers will be out picking up trash, putting up trail diamonds and doing trail inventory. So if you see us on the side of the trail don't be afraid to wave or say hi.
 
I generally fill a trash bag a trip out there man its crazy how many beer cans people toss!
