Volunteer work weekend at Uwharrie, lots of work to be done, so if your thinking about coming to Uwharrie or just thinking of something to do this weekend, come on out.

June 17-19th

If ya can only come one day, come out on saturday.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come out and volunteer.
 
Ill be in raliegh all day sat but ill be out Sunday.

I will skip the free rock crawl to do this!:lol:
is it cool to stop as we pass by and help a little? I'm afraid of commitment.
 
Any help would be cool, I believe specifically around Kodak Rock saturday we will need extra help.

And I was kidding. Last time I was out at URE, I drove by guys working. I just kept my head down and didn't make eye contact. I'm sure they see Electric Lime Green Jeeps all day long. They had no way of knowing it was me!! :alien:

That must have been the OTHER lime green TJ. :driver:

Mine is the Rubi on 35s.

There is another lime green TJ from the Charlotte area. I don't think he's on here though. He goes by Yeti on jeepforum.
 
Thankfully no one has actually mooned us, but there is a hint of truth in the idea. Its usually the people driving by giving us dirty looks like we are wack-jobs or something. Very rarely does anyone going by say anything nice like thanks, or good work.

And then you have the people like the infamous JK owner. We had our vehicles parked off the side of the trail, but in one area you had to hug one side of the trail to get around that just so happened to have a couple very small low hanging branches. He got out of his vehicle, all pissed off. Went around to the side and broke off the hanging branches so they wouldn't scratch his JK, stormed back around and got in and drove off. I almost burst out in laughter as he drove off. :lol:

Is anyone still going to this? My friend backed out on me and now I'm wondering whether to go or not
