been trying to do some research on what would have a v-belt pulley on a tc style pump but cant seem to fine any. Found a place a can order one for like $50 but figured if i could get one out of a junk yard i would rather do that. If it matters for some reason, its going on a samurai with the stock 1.3 and pumping a toyota ifs box.

yeah thats all i can find right now....did you ever look at the ones from lowrange?, its says from swaping a toyota to a tc pump but i dont see any reason what it wouldnt work for a samuri v-belt pulley....and also what size of pulley did you use, and what difference does size make on it?

The part number there is smaller than a stock toyota. Downsizing the pulley will make it turn faster, i believe.

The lowrange stuff looks the same as trail gear (they probably just resale it). I am running the trail gear bracket for a 22r, but i had a pump and pulley. I have not wheeled my yota in close to 2 years. Last i recall my steering sucked for two reasons, spools front and rear, and the ifs box i was running wasnt right. A new box has been installed but i have not wheeled it since.

Look at getting the bracket from them, but also source the pulley, pump, reservoir, cooler, and fittings. then compare to their kit.

something to consider is the input of a remote reservoir tc pump can be indexed IF you can get it out. I broke the input of mine and was forced to drill and tap for 1/2 pipe threads, but that allowed me not to move my reservoir.

Im ordering the bracket form them for the tc pump, from what ive read its well worth the $50 it cost to save a lot of time and trouble of making one....and i already have a tc pump off of a jeep so it has the resivior attached to it, but got it pretty cheap so i aint really complaning....my samurais locked front and rear, and it sucks for sure right now without no power steering so im hoping this set up will be plenty enough for what im wanting, from the 31s now to hopefully 33 or 35s soon
