V10 Gas Mileage?????

I'm looking at an excursion with the v10. What's the average mpg on these vehicles that are real world numbers from owners and friends that have these vehicles.

I've read 9-10mpg from my research but the owner of the vehicle says he's getting 11-12 city and 15-17 highway.

What do you think? Liar or is does he have one of the exceptions to the rule.
 
V-10 Gas Mileage-No such thing!
I know someone that had one, bought it new and drove it for 2mos and traded it in-said they never got better than 10mpg-that was an '02. I believe someone on this board has a gas one. Gas is cheaper than DzL right now but your difference for mpg in a diesel would make up for that easily. Good luck.
