I just got home from vacation at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach. Last night I was not far away from where a murder happened in the campground. It turns out these guys live just 25 min. frome me. It was a freaky thing but people just kept cruising their golf carts and partying like crazy while a dude was dying just yards away.

I took the kids to Myrtle for the day several years ago, not missing anything. They can go back on senior week on their own. I wan't peace and quiet with my :beer: on the beach.
 
^x2. Myrtle Beach is the reason I go to Emerald Isle and just chill now.

nope wasn't mine. remember mine is a flatbed. But that was a good looking truck:driver:

Actually it was really nice other than that one incicent andthat was an icolated one just turned out really bad. I will go back again next year.
 
Ocean Lakes is decent, when I was there it was definitely different than the standard anarchy going on around the strip.

Senior week, we stayed at the GOLDEN VILLA. Lets just say that at one point I actually had to vacuum the floor myself, thats how crummy the place was. However, it was a hell of a time! :beer:
 
Damn. I'm going to Ocean Lakes in just a few weeks and the RV lives there during the warm months. I'm glad to see it's not a random murder. I was there a few weeks ago and had the site beside a couple from Shelby.
