vacuum disconect was used as a chew toy

my dog chewed up the electrical wires coming out of the cad and the vacuum hoses !! the yj was in 4wd when this happened ,, does this mean that the fork is locked in and wont disengage without the electrical ????

no it is as simple as taking the cover off and manually disengaging the fork yourself.

check for radiator leaks.

the electric connection just shows up on the little light on the dash. The vac lines actually move the fork. I busted the case apart and used a lawnmower cable to lock it in and out from the cab b/c the spiders were welded.

i already checked all the cars , so far just the yj and it seems that they have also bit my trailer wires

if i wanted to keep it locked could i open the vacuum , drill a hole and place a 3/16 screw and nut to keep it down and locked ???/
this is just my trail rig and money is tight so i have to keep it cheap
